Woshi understands you. But this is the easy part. Woshi can calculate a plan for your studio/farm/workshop/operation/unit… according to your wishes and demands, nobody else can.

And yes, Woshi is in fact an army of algorithms stationed in our server.

  1. Memele says:

Woshi is an “iTimeTable-ish” server that can find a solution for any kind of ordering problem while understanding a kind of natural language?

    • “any kind” is a strong phrase to use here. But this is the core idea. People have needs in scheduling, which are easy to express in natural language. Not that easy in some formal programming language. That’s why this kind of interface might be helpful.

  2. One thing has changed significantly during the last month. The casual input style, with quite a space for errors in grammar or syntax is not that important, after all. The fact, that Woshi can understand ‘Oktober’, ‘October’, ‘oct’, ‘ockt’, ‘Otobe’ … and many more, isn’t that important. It’s a bit annoying even.

So let us focus on its strength as a schedule solver. It can convert a remarkably simple script into a very elaborate working plan. The script may contain some hard NP problems to solve, despite its apparent simplicity. This should be the essence of such a program. You can ask Woshi even what kind of shifts are the best for a given operation. It is able to advice you to have three shifts, according to your needs. One from 9:00 to 14:00, one from 9:00 to 16:30 and one split shift from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 on Mondays, otherwise …

Currently we are developing the net infrastructure around it and we will soon open a page for meeting Woshi.
